Professional Land Surveyor, PS

Driggs Design Group, PA is searching for a Professional Land Surveyor to expand our existing surveying capabilities. This individual is expected to assist and provide surveying expertise on a wide variety of infrastructure related projects undertaken by Driggs Design Group, PA. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and self-driven individual to acquire a leadership position in a rapidly growing company. The preferred candidate would be a Kansas licensed surveyor or have the ability to become licensed within a year. Additional information pertaining to the position is as follows:


Job Description:

  • Complete all office and field operations for a variety of surveying projects including topographic surveys, boundary surveys and construction layout. 
  • Prepare electronic base maps, exhibits and survey drawings as required.
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to manage daily client surveying needs.
  • Require little supervision, must have strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits as necessary.
  • Prepare survey scopes and fee estimates for internal projects and other project pursuits.
  • Manage client schedules and project budgets.
  • Perform business development activities to continue company growth.


Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Carlson software,  AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with TopCon Robotic Total Station and GPS preferred.
  • Successful completion of the Kansas L.S.I.T Exam.
  • Professional Land Surveying License or able to obtain within a year.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with subdivision platting.
  • Experience conducting parcel and right of way research.
