Driggs Design Group, PA is in search of a Civil Engineering Technician to assist with land development and transportation engineering projects. Individuals with previous transportation or land development CAD production experience preferred. Job Description:
- Obtain work assignments of either specific design elements or CAD drafting from Professional Engineer/Project Engineer with an allocated budget.
- Design and produce sets of plans for civil engineering projects.
- Ensure completion of assignments within defined budget and time parameters.
- Provide an accurate accounting of time spent on projects with descriptions for each time entry on a weekly basis.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting or related field, or High School diploma or equivalent and minimum two years of related work experience with land development and civil site design projects. An equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D 2019
- Able to work on multiple projects concurrently.
- Able to understand relationship between project details and project goals.
- Able to read/analyze/interpret complex information.
- Able to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Able to use mathematics to solve problems.
